At Sulwhasoo, I worked as a beauty consultant and took up many roles including customer service, stock management, cleaning the store, cashiering, interpersonal and internal communication.My experience at Sulwhasoo acquired me with a multitude of knowledge that I would not have gained elsewhere, under the guidance of my amazing colleagues I picked up product knowledge and sales techniques quickly. I learnt retail skills such as upselling techniques, maintaining professionalism in customer interactions and starting small talks with the customer. Apart from retail related skills, I realised the significance of remaining calm, in various instances that had the potential to escalate but, thankfully, did not as I managed to stay calm and collected.

I worked as a beauty consultant under Origins for close to 2 months, during my time there I took up multiple roles including serving customers, cleaning the store, cashiering, customer service, counting inventory stocks and managing the inventory.The majority of my job consisted of customer service, where I was met with countless challenges when serving customers especially when I first began and was not familiar with the products, though as time went on, product knowledge eventually became the least of my concerns. However, I was still met with multiple challenges due to my lack of experience in this field which I ultimately overcame with resilience.
