Manage and produce the United States Croquet Association's official print magazine. Responsibilities include editing, creating ads, contacting freelance writers/photographers, page layout, circulation management, ad sales, client services and marketing. The magazine is distributed to 3,000 USCA members.

Kansas City, Missouri Area

The Midwest Croquet Association serves croquet players and clubs in the Kansas City metro area and beyond. I became president of the MCA in 2012 and helped implement a four-tournament nine-wicket series in 2013. The series helped us set records in both membership and revenue ... both of which we expect to break again in 2017. Other highlights included the implementation of a new logo and website redesign.

Managed a 17-member production department responsible for page layout, editing, creative, project management, warehousing and digital initiatives for 53 business properties.

West Palm Beach, Florida Area

Serve as the chairman for committee focused on internal and external communications for the USCA. Responsibilities include writing press releases, promotional materials and copy, organization of a monthly conference call and setting a long term agenda for communications projects. Recent projects have included a re-working of the organization e-newsletter and development of a search tool and site map for the main website.

Manage and produce a small circulation digital and print magazine covering the sport of croquet with six issues per year and an active website. Responsibilities include writing, creating ads, contacting freelance writers/photographers, page layout, circulation management and marketing. The magazine won the USCA’s Media Coverage Award for 2010.

Role expanded to include production for our Air Charter Guide, SpeedNews and EquipmentWatch properties.

Took over management of full book/directory production department and transitioned production for the Price Digests property into our department. New role included vendor management and contract negotiations along with inventory management.

Managed five-member page layout department responsible for production of books and directories.

Worked as page-layout and editing specialist for manuals and directories.
