I am Dylan Gregory and I am currently studying a Bachelor of Science in Biology, with a concentration in Zoology. Ever since I can remember, I have had a passion, a calling to work with Animals, to protect their habitats and educate people about the benefits and necessities of the Natural World, and the species that share this blue planet with us.Sir David Attenborough and Steve Irwin have been the 2 biggest influencers on my life and future career aspirations. To that end I would love to pursue a career working in or managing the operations of a Zoo or wildlife park, or working for an animal and conservation based charity, such as the WWF.I have been fortunate to visit the Galapagos Islands in 2021, being the first official research trip since the Covid regulations where relaxed. The experience elevated my desire to understand and protect animal species around the world, whether they inhabit the land, the sea or the air. I plan to get my Diving certifications to expand my skills and to allow me to explore oceanic conservation and animal research.I am lucky that my passion is what I am driving my career to be. All my efforts, hopes and education are focused on improving understanding and welfare of the animal kingdom.

Checking turtle nesting areas on the beach to determine if they had been disturbed and if rescue was required. Also involved advising people when to intercede on turtle rescue2.
