Engineer for Turner Construction Company at the TWA Hotel at JFK Airport. This project is a 512-guestroom hotel with a two story below grade Conference Center, and the restored TWA Terminal as the lobby giving the hotel the title of the largest hotel lobby in the world. Lead engineer for fifteen trades including superstructure concrete, foundations, masonry, doors and hardware, elevators, sitework, ornamental metals, miscellaneous metals, fire shutters, landscaping, spa, precast concrete, roofing, exterior curtainwall, and temporary hoist and scaffolding. Superintendent responsible for the turnover of 150 guestrooms to the client. Worked cooperatively with the client, architect, and the Port Authority to monitor, document, and complete outstanding punch list items throughout the project site. Wrote contracts for trade partners including food service, spray on fireproofing, and spa.
