I am a graduate of Presbyterian College with a degree in physics and a minor in mathematics. While at Presbyterian College, I participated in many research projects requiring me to apply the knowledge I learned in the classroom to real-world systems. These projects have allowed me to hone my research, writing, and critical thinking skills. Furthermore, I served as the physics and mathematics tutor, requiring extensive time management and collaboration efforts. In addition to my required coursework, I was a member of the National Physics and Astronomy and National Mathematics honor societies. I had the privilege to connect with other students and faculty members who also shared the same interests in physics and mathematics, and also promoted the public interest in these fields of study.I am currently an Engineering Physicist at Doty Scientific. I specialize in mechanical design, part manufacturing using a high-power laser, and I participate in other research projects.
