Upkeep and maintenance of buildings has been a huge part of my career since I graduated highschool and graduated from my vocational school, Laurel oaks career center. At Laurel oaks I studied for two years in construction framing and finished and have training on how to use small construction equipment and safety of the equipment, also have training in OSHA safety standards and regulations. For 6 years after graduation for school I went into subcontractor work for hoffer construction where I spent those years doing anything I could to learn new things from wiring a house from start to finish, complete roof replacement and roof repairs, flooring, siding, bathroom/kitchen remodeling, major structural repairs, plumbing, concrete, drywall and framing. I have built a few houses and many stick frame barns/pole barns. I have repaired termite damage in residential homes. Replaced sagging or broken floor joists and rafters in the roofs. Torn out and replaced several shower and tub units. Have been recognized for being a people person and having good customer service reports from clients, residents and coworkers. I work well with others and have good communication with coworkers/staffing.
