I am a hardworking student pursuing dual degrees, in Mechanical Engineering and Industrial Engineering, with an emphasis in Materials Science. Along with my education, I have worked with other engineers and medical engineering equipment at Boston Scientific. This experience exposed me to Research and Design labs and engineering processes for troubleshooting mechanical and electronic issues with medical manufacturing equipment. I also individually worked with these pieces of machinery to understand the mechanisms behind their operations. Working with medical devices of this caliber captivated and intrigued me throughout my time with Boston Scientific.I have also worked as a quality engineer through Stratasys, where I was able to participate in active six-sigma green belt training. I was able to apply these tools to my lean manufacturing project to work towards my goal of decreasing scrap rate and increasing component traceability. Other than project work, I observed Stratasys' internal auditing process and went on several Gemba visits to their manufacturing facilities in the Twin Cities area.I currently reside with Emerson in the Twin Cities as a facilities engineer. I have heavily worked on improving safety operations, along with energy consumption studies. During my time at Emerson, my professional communication skills have grown immensely due to the constant communication that is needed between collaborative business units within the facilities department.
