The program consists of new 138kV / 345 kV substations across the state of Illinois, improvements and upgrades to existing substations, new 345kV transmission lines, and three river crossings. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES- Perform material quantity takeoffs based on engineering drawings- Prepare material requisitions and track material from initial purchase order to delivery on site- Analyze and maintain subcontractor progress by earned value reporting- Produce monthly cash flow reports- Review subcontract and vendor invoices- Assess and forecast cost and schedule variances from baseline or previous forecasts

I spent one summer during my time as a student at The University of Alabama as a Parent Ambassador. This team was responsible for leading parents and families of new students through an orientation to welcome them to the university, and included several months of training leading up to the summer. These orientations took place over two-day periods, throughout the entirety of the summer. As part of this team, I performed various duties associated with welcoming the students' families to the university, including: * Leading families of students through multiple presentations and seminars * Working with a group of 4 to give informational presentations to small groups of 25 to 50 parents/family members at a time * Being available to students and their families to answer various questions, such as living on campus, taking classes, and handling finances * Reviewing post-orientation surveys and working with the team to improve our processes
