Co-founded the Global Swim Series, the world’s largest series of open water swim races. As of 2020 the GSS has over 170 races in over 30 countries with an estimated 100,000 swimmers taking part in a GSS race each year. The Global Swim Series aims to grow the sport of open water swimming by creating and promoting fun, safe and exciting races all around the world. GSS competitors range from Olympic Gold Medalists and world-class swimmers to those brand new to the sport. As COO of a start-up I have juggled many responsibilities to ensure the smooth operation of the series. These duties have included race management, sales, web design, marketing, sponsorship & investments, stats management, client relations and most importantly, being an enthusiastic swimmer!
