As an apprentice field guide, I am passionate about wildlife conservation, education, and photography. I am currently pursuing my NQF2 qualification with Bushwise Field Guides, where I am learning the skills and knowledge to become a professional and competent guide in the African bush.I recently completed a five-month field guide internship with African Impact, where I had the opportunity to work with various conservation projects, such as anti-poaching, wildlife monitoring, and community outreach. I also developed my photography skills, capturing stunning images of the flora and fauna of the region. Additionally, I hold certificates in Trackar level 1 and advanced snake capture, which demonstrate my ability to handle challenging and diverse situations in the field.
