Safety Manager for Marine Construction company based in NY/NJ. Current role includes the oversight of JTC’s health & safety program including the safety of all employees, projects, properties & operations. Role includes all safety/security functions for ongoing projects as well as, key safety-planning tasks such as the creation of health and safety plans, field inspections, compliance to marine/construction regulations, disciplinary measures, implementation of company safety policies, and overall safety program management. Currently responsible for JT Cleary’s safety program, working in collaboration with the company President and General Superintendent - within this role, I report directly to the Vice President of Risk/Director of Safety at Tully Group, owner of JTC. Marine contracts/services include critical infrastructure projects for public-sector clients such as State/Federal entities. Educator/Training Role: Currently JTC’s instructor/trainer for numerous programs including basic life support (CPR/FA/AED), emergency response for divers, and other in-house safety training programs. Security: Actively engaged with other private/public sector professionals through platforms/program that promote information-sharing to maintain awareness of physical safety & security matters.
