The position consisted of supervising up to 50 shifts in a night spread out across a wide area, responding to a wide range of incidents(mental health, medical, behavioral, assault, and drug related calls). Additionally, this position entailed large amounts of training, instructing and guiding of newer employees as well as training in newly promoted supervisors. Last minute scheduling duties were performed as needed, this also included operating scheduling software. These duties required large amounts of report writing, and communication with peers, subordinates and superiors on a consistent basis. Interactions with police and EMS were common and occasionally we would support police in larger operations such as training events and protests.
