Dylan has worked for the non-for-profit Artists Striving to End Poverty since 2006 as a teacher, volunteer trainer, and Program Director for Art-In-Action in Homestead, Florida and artsINSIDEOUT in Johannesburg, South Africa. She was the co-founder and executive producer of the Artist as Citizen Conference, a six-day conference held at The Juilliard School in New York City. The Conference served as a laboratory and launching pad for the next class of great American leaders in the arts. Our mission was to strengthen the role of the arts in our society by connecting, developing and mobilizing a more diverse, more strategic, more empowered generation of American artists. To do this, we focused on three main threads of inquiry — Artistry, Activism and Entrepreneurship — areas with which an emerging twenty-first century artist must have at least a passing familiarity. What was unique about the Artist as Citizen experience is that ASTEP deftly weaves these three subjects into a single conversation, just as they are three interwoven parts of an artist’s career. Our Exquisite Corpse (OEC) is a one-of-its-kind production company led by actress, producer, and entrepreneur Dylan Moore that takes on a wide variety of creative projects that need administrative and creative guidance. The name Our Exquisite Corpse harkens back to the surrealist art game of the same name, made famous by Salvador Dali, where participants created a collaborative collage. In the same vein, Our Exquisite Corpse produces diverse and dynamic work including the Le Salon series, provocative theater like "what's this called, this spirit?” ( Ars Nova), and the fine art puppetry piece Birdheart created by Tony nominated designer Julian Crouch and musician Saskia Lane.

Dylan has worked as Company Manager and Associate Producer for The Chekhov Project, directed by Brian Mertes (Head of MFA Directing Program at Brown University/Trinity Rep and Associate Director at Trinity) and produced by his wife and director Melissa Kievman and producer/actress Wendy vanden Heuvel. The annual project is a week long retreat for actors, designers and makers of all kinds which culminates in a sweeping, one-time only, day-long exploration of a Chekhov play in their 200 year old farmhouse in upstate New York. In 2014, Dylan helped produce the most ambitious summer project since its inception in 2003, a documented live theatre event and experimental film of “The Seagull,” working with a group of 100 artists and makers, including Gabe Ebert, Didi O’Connell, Rob Campbell, Annie Baker, Gayle Rankin, TR Knight, Lynn Cohen, Guy Boyd, Wendy Vanden Heuvel, Joan MacIntosh, Vicky Finney, and Glen Berger and an audience 300 strong.Responsibilities Included: Oversaw communications between all departments made up of over 100 peopleCreated and supervised meal, accommodation, and daily schedulesHired production crew Managed large team in high stress, quick turn over, multi-tasking situationsServed as primary contact for all questions and communicationsAbility to identify potential challenges and then problem solveSkillful team builder who fosters positive interpersonal relationships
