Providing EHS consulting services throughout the Southeast region.• Comprehensively managed the environmental needs for multiple industrial facilities• Performed on-site walkthroughs of complex manufacturing processes in order to identify emissions sources & gather the information necessary to determine both the type & quantity of pollutants generated.• Simplified these processes into Process Flow Diagrams that highlight the location of all emissions sources, the cause of emissions, & the control technology used to reduce environmental impact• Constructed multi-layered facility-wide emissions calculations based on theoretical engineering knowledge, insights from on-site walkthroughs, production data & industry-specific knowledge (AP-42, Public Research, etc.).• Crafted various environmental plans & applications in accordance with state & federally mandated environmental law which focuses on the prevention of air & water pollution (Examples include: SPCC, SWPPP, CAM, Title-V, etc.)• Proficient in the Visual Basic Application (VBA) programing language; utilized this skill to create smart & adaptable project tracking & emissions tracking spreadsheets for clients which in-turn generated a new stream of revenue for SEC.

Worked on the New Product Development Team as the primary technical resource for & project manager of all new metalworking manufacturing equipment under the “JET” & “Edwards Ironworkers” brands.• Facilitated over 20 new products through a “Stage-Gate” project management process during my tenure.• Honed & vetted 3D-CAD designs of new products & performed quality checking/sample verification on prototypes• Travelled to 15+ manufacturing facilities (domestic & international) to confirm proper manufacturing of new products• Spearheaded the development of an innovative new project, integrating new technology into the industry with workhorse products. I managed the technology development, field trials, internal presentations, and external consultants to bring this project from concept through beta testing.

Through the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, I was placed into a small group of undergraduate engineers with the task to design a machine that would completely replace what was currently a manual process.A summary of our task is as follows. In order to know how well a fuser in a printer is adhering ink to a piece of paper a large experiment must be performed in which 20 pieces of paper are printed and tested each in 6 different spots.Testing includes placing a cloth underneath a known weight and moving that combination over a piece of paper. The cloth would be tested to find the density of ink that was removed from the paper, and after 120 such tests were performed a fusegrade number would be determined. Our task was to create an automated fusegrade testing machine.I became the project manager of this group in January '16 when the group saw that a switch in leadership was necessary. With only 5 months left until the deadline for our project, our group finalized a design, ordered all necessary parts, assembled the machine, and began programming.A detailed description our final design can be found below.
