The reason why someone buys a product or service in the business industry is what drives me to learn as much as I can about marketing. Even though there are thousands of reasons why someone would buy a product or service, there's always a way to market that product or service so that the customer is satisfied with their decision. Marketing is such a big part of the business world that companies have to provide for their product or service in order to be noticed by customers. There are many challenges that come along the way in which I love to identify, analyze, and improve to better the company overall. Just like the challenges of marketing, I'm very driven to work hard and lead the way in any journey I pursue. In my life I've had many jobs and experiences where I feel the need to step up when nobody else does. When I worked at Kings River Golf and Country Club I'd organize tournaments throughout the year, manage pro shop procedures that needed to be overlooked on a day-to-day basis such as cash flows, inventory, and simply doing what was needed to satisfy customers. I'd run junior camps not only in the summer, but also year-round weekly lessons for kids who had the passion and love for the game of golf like I do. Playing wise, I was always the one to take charge as the team leader weather I was the best player or not. I started playing golf at the age of 6 which I still play to this day with a handicap of +2. My leadership and team skills started from my high school team which continued to my junior college team which I lead us to Northern California Championships both years playing followed by transferring to Sonoma State University where I was named co-captain and Second Wave All-America Scholar. As a captain on all levels I'd make sure my teammates were getting the practice they needed, calling courses to set tee times in which I was given approval after introducing myself on behave of our programs, and simply being there for my teammates when they needed advice on troubles they were going through. I firmly plan on carrying these skills that I’ve learned from being in the golf world with me to my career for a business that is in need. As I've started my journey into the work world, I’m thrilled to apply my knowledge I’ve gained from my years of education and experience while also learning as much as I can everywhere I go.
