Building upon my time with the SRA Undergraduate Student ambassador position, I decided to find additional employment as a School of Chemistry student ambassador. In this role my role is to help set up and ensure the smooth running of events organised by the School of chemistry, including offer holder and open days, guided tours of the school and alumni events. The also promotes interacting positively with prospective students and interested people and providing an authentic account of the student experience at the University and answering any questions that may arise.

Working with the Student Recruitment and Admissions office to staff open days and other university events such as outreach programmes, to engage with prospective students and allow them an authentic insight into the student experience from a student perspective. Other roles have included fire stewarding for large events, taking part in student panels and leading tours of the Universities campuses for prospective students and other interested members of the public as well as doing event setup for various large on campus events.
