Due to Covid-19’s deleterious effect on the hospitality industry I was forced to pivot into my own venture. Responsible for the day to day running of the guest house, cooking breakfast for guests in the morning, ensuring quality of meals delivered. All administrative duties including but not limited to the taking of bookings, processing of invoices, noting payments into our account, and taking virtual card payments. The role also includes some specific general maintenence and the upkeep of the DSTV and WiFi infrastructure on the property. Answering of all calls and greeting of guests upon arrival as well as checking them in and giving a tour of the facilities and ameneties. Upon departure, ensuring that all bills/breakage charges are settled and all necesary documents are in order as well as ensuring that guest relations are maintained and improved.

Recruited to increase the market share of Acer in the Eastern Cape, responsible for all non retail sales and marketing of the Acer brand to SME's and Education Partners. I was responsible for all corporate accounts within the province, as well as ensuring the relationship with our key distributors was maintained.

At Liberty Life East London Broker Division I was responsible to support a panel of Senior and Executive Standard Bank Financial Consultants, answer their queries, and managing the relationship between them and our brokerage. Ensuring their business was processed timeously, that they were kept up to date of changes in the market place as well as ensuring the training and acclimatizing of new brokers to the way we did business, while maintaining product proficiency of existing brokers as the market landscape changed.
