Power Africa, Lighting Africa, Green Africa.I have over 16 years working experience in power and renewable energy industry and carbon asset management and trading industry in East Africa.I am the sole Founder and Managing Director of YOCEAN Group Limited since establishment in 2011, YOCEAN is the 1st local manufacturer of distribution transformer in Kenya since 2015, and YOCEAN set up our smart electricity meter assemble production line in 2018. As main local contractor we successfully implemented the 1st Advanced Distribution Management System (ADMS) project in Nairobi by March 2023, installed and commissioned SCADA and protection system in 132kV substation in 2022, as EPC contractor we installed and commissioned a 13kWp solar mini grid with a 20kWh battery storage system at Mathare primary school in 2022. YOCEAN is also ISO 9001:2015 certified company, Member of KAM, KCETA and meanwhile I'm the Chairman of Kenya China Electric Power and Energy Enterprises Association.Climate change and the loss of forestry and biodiversity become the real challenges to human society, since 2019 we ventured into carbon credit market and committed to help emission reduction activities to access the capital markets and escalate more financing into green and sustainable developments in Africa countries.
