Health Career Connection (HCC) - Health Information Technology Intern:​ Supported the comprehensive program evaluation of the technical assistance initiative implemented in 41 Health Center Controlled Network (HCCN) member clinics. • Coordinated with service partner consultants to collect and validate quality improvement metrics between 2015-2018 as defined by the Uniform Data System (UDS). • Streamlined data visualization and designed PowerPoint templates for clinic evaluation meetings. • Assisted HCCN Project Manager and Project Coordinator in coordinating HCCN project initiatives, which included providing additional Lean methodology training and briefing on long-term data governance and data analytics strategy.

VietRISE YOP is a civic engagement organizing internship aimed to engage the youth and immigrant Vietnamese populations in Orange County. Throughout the internship I participated in• Developed culturally accessible messaging strategies to engage underserved refugee/immigrant populations.• Outreached on multiple community college campuses to register 1000's of new voters prior to the 2018 midterms, resulting in the highest voter turnout in the county since 1970 (71%). • Ran canvassing campaigns in Vietnamese and Latinx neighborhoods, bringing awareness to potential ballot measures including amending Prop 13, repealing Costa-Hawkins Act, and maintaining sanctuary city status. • Managed the community speaker logistics/scheduling for our revitalized community engagement event, Common Ground: Making H.O.M.E., which saw a 150+ person turnout.
