Dylan began pursuing supply chain visibility and compliance solutions in 2014. Moving forward as a tech enabled impact business consultant, it granted him the opportunity to look at solutions to the worlds problems through many angles. Ultimately, he realized that the supply chain has been built from the inside out because of the inherited system of imperialism and legacy trading that has evolved into our current system of late stage capitalism.His core focus is to help the world evolve into Sustainablism as an economic model by optimizing the supply contract process. Our world and society are at the end of pushing overproduction and over leveraging everything in the system. Efficient production and clear supply demands are the best way forward for healthy life to continue in society.When Dylan realized that 15% of green house gasses come from inefficiencies in the food supply chain he knew that there was a huge opportunity. (40-50% of Food going to waste and 30% of green house gases come from ag = 15% from inefficiencies). He then came to address this situation through the development of Offtake which provides the digitization of supply contracts with production data as part of the transaction process. Given that supply contract touch all commodities and production in the world but there is not yet a good solution for this essential function of the global economy. From here the answers began rolling in. Once assets are digitized, forward selling and compliance becomes much more manageable. Green project finance becomes a matter of execution of data and agreements centered around de-risking the project as much as possible. Having agricultural roots on both sides of his family he grew up learning about the importance of working the land and its positive impact on humanity. At 10 years old he learned about supply chain finance from his grandfather who issued financing to small and medium farmers in Easter Colorado. helped him see the solutions. It has enabled him to realize that Offtake, or any business / organization using its systems, has a significant advantage against the legacy marketplace, trade, finance and insurance systems.
