Dylan Fisher is a skilled redevelopment and economic development professional with an employment background in local public government, private sector consulting, and commercial real estate development roles. I joined The Wheatley Group as the Vice President of Real Estate in 2020. The Wheatley Group is an Indiana-based advisory firm specializing in the conception, planning, and implementation of economic development and redevelopment initiatives. The Wheatley Group's client groups are public sector governments, quasigovernmental agencies, and private sector real estate development firms.As Vice President of Real Estate, I am responsible for managing multiple private development client relationships and owner representation contracts. My regular client duties include incentive and tax credit procurement, pre-development and entitlement support, government relations, and project management. My client projects are typically mixed-use, multi-family residential, single-family residential, retail, or hospitality developments. I have a proven track record in procuring local, state, and federal incentive and tax credits for The Wheatley Group's clients.I obtained a Bachelor of Science Degree in Urban Planning and Regional Development, with a concentration in Real Estate Development, from Ball State University in 2015. From 2015 to 2020, I served the Town of Clarksville, Indiana in various entry-level and executive-level redevelopment, economic development, and community planning roles. As Clarksville’s Redevelopment Director, I was responsible for managing and directing spending of the community’s annual $8.5 million Tax Increment Financing and $2 million Economic Development Income Tax budgets. I was also responsible for planning and constructing over $45 million in capital improvement projects, negotiating public-private-partnerships agreements, assembling, and entitling land for large scale redevelopment projects, and improving community relations. I successfully negotiated purchase contracts and administered the acquisition due diligence process for over 120 acres of developable land in multiple brownfield/infill redevelopment project areas. My real estate negotiation experience includes successful brownfield redevelopment acquisitions from CSX Railroad and Marathon Petroleum Company.
