After completing an 8-month internship at Indevin, I have transitioned into a junior system administrator role. In this position, I manage critical IT infrastructures, including Windows/Linux Servers, MySQL and Postgres databases, Unifi Switches and Access Points, Sophos Firewalls, and VMware ESXi/vSphere environments running on Supermicro and HPE hardware. My responsibilities include ensuring system stability, managing network configurations, and optimizing server performance.As part of working towards a system engineer role, I am actively involved in firewall and network debugging, as well as the installation of new hardware and services. I am also developing skills in network design, stakeholder engagement, and the creation and deployment of Ansible playbooks to deliver technical solutions that align with organizational goals.
