From a dedicated Drilling Fluids Engineer to a Quantitative Analyst, my journey has been anything but conventional. Instead, this unique path has gifted me with a profound appreciation for complexity, dynamism, and the beauty of problem-solving. My tenure as a Drilling Fluids Engineer was a masterclass in managing high-stress situations, meeting strict deadlines, and developing a solid intuition for data. Moreover, this experience sparked my interest in Analytics, where I could leverage these skills to drive meaningful change. While working full-time, I completed an undergraduate degree in Data Management / Data Analytics, balancing my full-time job with rigorous academics. This pursuit culminated in a Capstone Excellence Award, recognizing my end-to-end sales forecasting solution for a grocery store chain. This project underscored the power of data science in optimizing business decisions and made me realize the need for a deeper understanding of this field. As I progressed toward this new direction, I fell in love with Machine Learning for its problem-solving capabilities. Today, I am working with a wonderful team of intelligent people at Trailstone, and I am thoroughly enjoying the oppurunity to learn a new business. My journey may be non-traditional, but this uniqueness fuels my perspective and shapes my approach. I look forward to contributing to this dynamic field, turning complex data into actionable insights, and driving innovation in an ever-evolving world.
