About Dylan Lechner
I am a Master’s student at the University of Massachusetts Amherst pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering with a B.S. in Biomedical Engineering. The creativity and out-of-the-box problem solving required for Biomedical advancements has piqued my interest for years as I am consistently motivated to improve the quality of human health.For the past five years, I have extensively studied a wide range of engineering applications. From understanding the microstructure of engineering materials and their mechanical behavior to the synthesis of nanomaterials for gene therapy, I recognize the importance of engineering in our daily lives.As such, my goal is to gain experience as a highly motivated student through experience in the medical device industry utilizing laboratory experience, troubleshooting, and design skills.
