Ground Water Rule (GWR), Consumer Confidence Report and Facility manager for NDEP, Bureau of Safe Drinking Water. Worked with public water systems across the state to enforce federal and state regulations pertaining to the GWR. Sanitary surveys were conducted for public water systems to inspect sanitary conditions, maintenance, and operations of the facility to identify deficiencies and ensure source waters were protected. Oversaw the Bureau's sanitary surveys to confirm enforcement and corrective actions were taken to resolve deficiencies and return public water systems to compliance. Collaborated with the engineering branch to review water projects and the Office of Financial Assistance to help underserved communities secure funding for necessary water system improvements.

Lake Tahoe Basin, Nv

Conducted surveys for California spotted owls and other special-status species in the Lake Tahoe basin and Carson Range. The project was carried out under an AmeriCorps contract in cooperation with the Nevada Department of Wildlife. Surveys involved driving or hiking to remote stations where spotted owl calls were broadcast, as well as visits to known territories to determine occupancy and nesting status. All incidental observations of other special status wildlife were recorded. Supplemental surveys included northern goshawk, great gray owl, and peregrine falcon nesting surveys.

Yorba Linda

Conducted California gnatcatcher, desert tortoise, cactus wren, burrowing owl, nesting bird, and other special status botanical and wildlife surveys, habitat restoration monitoring and biological monitoring on a variety of projects in southern California, technical report writing, environmental impact analysis, vegetation mapping, brown-headed cowbird trapping programs, nest monitoring, data collection with GIS software, contractor environmental awareness training programs, and weekly monitoring reports.

Designed and led group activity sessions for CSUF students to improve their understanding of biological concepts, to develop study strategies, and prepare for exams. I held two sessions a week in a classroom setting for up to 30 students at a time during which lecture and laboratory content were brought together utilizing various learning strategies in a collaborative environment. I attended the professor's associated evolution and biodiversity and introductory cell lectures to effectively incorporate the professor's teaching style and content emphasis into my instructional sessions, and used my prior experience and knowledge to improve student success in these high-fail-rate courses.

Created lesson plans, worksheets and activities involving introductory species identification, track identification and herpetological ecology focused on Orange County reptiles and amphibians for grade school students. Presented project outcomes in the form of a poster at the 2017 Better Together Education Summit at California State University, Fullerton.
