-Serve as main Point of Contact for Illinois Coalition for Immigrant and Refugee Rights, Asian Americans Advancing Justice, Chicago School Board, Pan Asian Voter Empowerment Coalition, and Chicago Board of Elections.-Collaborate with Healthy Aging team to perform issues analysis via Change InSight, process witness slips, and expand client base for lunch program and other services offered by Hanul.-Springfield Advocacy: led Hanul’s May 1st Advocacy Day team with Asian Americans Advancing Justice and the PAVE Coalition & organized Hanul team for ICIRR’s May 14th Advocacy Day.

-Healthy Aging Department: enter and record client and service data in Apricot or other funder-required databases; assist outreach activities, including designing and creating PowerPoint presentations for benefit info sessions and events; assist with screening, applications, and case management for IFSP program; assist with public benefit applications, including eligibility screenings and documents checks.-Community Engagement Department: assist in the curriculum maintenance and service delivery of a pilot large group ENG class for multilingual learners; attend annual Springfield Trip to lobby to discuss legislative and budget matters impacting BIPOC/AAPI and immigrant community with State representatives; attend press conferences, political protests, and ICIRR membership meetings regularly; create and disseminate ongoing education and awareness campaigns on policy, witness slips, and legislative updates impacting minority and immigrant communities; maintain regular contact and develop relationships with IL and federal legislators and State stakeholders and represent the organization well on behalf of the populations we serve.-Development & Administrative Support: develop understanding of nonprofit structure, governance, programming, and social impact; provide assistance/administrative support for incoming SPAN speaking volunteer management and onboarding processes.

-Work & collaborate with the OBP team on projects; create & facilitate student workshops; contribute to program development and implementation.-Hold office hours for OBP team members & students; develop student-centered online pedagogy; create bilingual asynchronous lectures & assignments.-Collect, maintain, and process data; contribute to data analysis; create an OBP internship resource library; critically analyze program needs and develop supplementary resources.

-Assist CDI advance the recognition & appreciation of our diverse community, promote multicultural education across campus, strive to ensure the retention & success of underrepresented students, and foster a supportive, inclusive environment for all students, faculty & staff.-Support the Brothers for Excellence (B4E) mentorship program for 1st year & transfer students; assisting with the recruitment, selection, training, advising, & supervision of six B4E Mentors; oversee & co-advise committees.-Co-plan several signature B4E programs while finding innovative ways to build spaces for Mxn of Color; work collaboratively with students, staff, & faculty to develop curriculum & themes for respective programs and events.-Support the Center in planning & facilitation of special events such as Welcome Week events (August), Multicultural Graduation, Martin Luther King Jr. Celebration, and others.

-Supervised 8 CITs in their daily activities as well as worked with camp staff to develop and implement leadership curriculum, workshops and other learning experiences such as community service projects.-Conducted College preparation & career development workshops catered to the skills and interests of each individual CIT over the 6 week period they worked.-Collaborated with Westchester Parks Volunteer Coordinator to plant 48 Beech tree saplings, native to the terrain, to combat Beech Leaf Disease affecting numerous trees.-Assisted the Camp Directors in setting up goals, programming, etc. for the CIT program.-Maintained proper records on each CIT to help evaluate their goals and progress throughout the summer.-Aided other Administrators, Staff, Maintenance Staff, Office Staff, and Kitchen Staff when needed.
