I graduated with a BA in Design from Seattle University in March 2021. I made the decision to become a UX Designer after working on my first UX design project at Shoreline College. When I decided to attend SeattleU for its values-based education, I knew I would need additional training to become a UX designer. So I completed General Assembly's 12-week UX Design Bootcamp in July 2021.My final General Assembly project was a website redesign for a swimming school in Atlanta, GA. The Swem School loved our work and hired me to design and develop their main website, and a not-for-profit affiliate site. After taking a little time off to recharge my batteries, I'm now looking an entry level position on a design team where I can apply my craft and grow as a designer. Before design, I spent four years working for premium brands in print production, retail sales, and customer service. My interest in design started while using Adobe Creative Suite for print production at FedEx Office. When I started using Illustrator just for fun, I returned to school to study design.
