With our relatively small team we generally "wear many hats" on any given day, but typically I focus on server/workstation management and security by leveraging System Center Configuration Manager (now Microsoft Endpoint Manager) and Intune in a Windows based environment. Worked closely with the infrastructure, network, and support teams. Learned the basics of how a corporate IT environment runs and eventually created a valuable role within the department. Along with being an IT advocate for several departments, I also helped man the IT support phone line and email which was accessed by close to 2000 users.
