I have put in place an extremely successful Intranet running on Sharepoint. I have deployed the website and content management system. I have also developed a couple of core applications: the sales database and the report writing tool – both of which are designed to save a great deal of time.

My main role within Lane Group has been the development of mobile applications for proof of delivery and product tracking combining the use of SQL Server, ASP.NET, PHP and Compact Framework Pocket PC developments on Intermec 700 series and XDAIIi devices for use both out on deliveries and within the warehouses.

My main role within MM Group has been to develop MS SQL Server database and VB front-end solutions. These have to be set up to be as secure as possible and as reliable as possible as they all contain personal data and most systems are required 24x7.

Much of my time has been spent developing a system for a precious metal refining company. This combines reception of raw material; laboratory analysis; refining of this material; accounting; shipping refined metal to customers; sales of owned metal to customers; purchasing of metal from customers in an integrated and fully auditable system. This is a MS.

The time spent during employment at Admiral has involved development of systems to very tight deadlines and quality procedures. I have been a major player in the development of a batch processing system working very closely with the team of developers, designers and managers. This system is Oracle based, using Forms, but the batch processing is done using.

My time at Sema Group was mainly spent developing, maintaining and supporting Wessex Water’s and Bristol Water’s, laboratory and engineering systems. These are mainly MS SQL Server/VB systems; however there were a number of mainframe systems that required support.
