So, how do I find advertising?Handling clients like MalayMail, INCEIF, Sharp AQUOS, Malaysia Airlines & CDC, IMU and AAAA Malaysia sure gets me thinking that well… the industry is bittersweet.My passion to write never withers but now, I think I’m ready to move on to other kinds of writing.I wonder if Miss Rowling is looking for an apprentice.

First, I'll need to understand. Only then could I imagine. That's when the words begin to flow, eager to tell a story. It wasn't until mid 2012 did I discover copywriting, and it was all thanks to the late Yasmin Ahmad. While Googling her history, I found out that she's a copywriter and then a CD before making movies and just like that, I was hooked.And it got me reminiscing my childhood. Of how my mom used to read me bedtime stories and making me imagine 3D-like scenes on my bedroom ceilings and walls, of a chair that can fly and a forest full of magical creatures.So when I got a job here as a copywriter, I was hoping to instil some magic into the clients I’m handling like PETRONAS Brands, Domino’s Malaysia & Singapore, BABA’S & U and Fitness First Malaysia, but life was never easy.Then again, I’ll be damned if I let it gets to me!

One of these days, my neighbours are going to bust in my front door carrying pitchforks and torches, and demand that I stop singing!In the meantime, I’ll be glad to serenade you during the interviews with my rendition of Adele’s ‘Rolling In The Deep’, Kodaline’s ‘All I Want’, One Republic’s ‘Love Runs Out’ or even ‘Britney Spears’ ‘Toxic’.Donations (once I’m done) are greatly appreciated.

I’m sure many of you would go “Huh?” if I were to mention ePerolehan or Ministry of Finance (MOF) certificate. But if it’s Federal Government tenders you’ll be like “Oh, I see…”For many Malays and Bumiputeras, getting those tenders is like getting a blessing from Zeus, King of the Greek Gods himself. Their crops couldn’t possibly grow without it.So when I worked there and saw all these people registering their ePerolehan accounts to participate in tenders for army boots that last for less than a month, RM100 per head breakfast buffet, and chemicals worthy of ‘Breaking Bad’ meth produce, I told myself “Eff if owning a business means that I have to buy limau mandarin and pisang goreng every time I see the officers in-charge!”My naivety includes not making rapports to "climb" my way up.
