I have been working with young people for a long time and have a lot of experience in a variety of settings. I wrote my dissertation on Civic Engagement of high school students in an American School and I am very passionate in getting students involved in their wider community. I enjoy challenging students in the classroom and ensuring that their critical reading and writing skills improve throughout each year. I have travelled extensively with students and find that they gain so much insight into the world when they can see things that are different from their every day bubble. I look forward to continuing to hone my own teaching practice and leadership while helping to mold the future leaders of our local and global communities.
