After graduating with a BS in Engineering Physics from the Colorado School of Mines, Colonel Ferguson joined the US Air Force and recently transferred to the US Space Force. He's completed several assignments in Program Management, basic scientific research, missile operations, and on Combatant Command, Service, and OSD staffs. Colonel Ferguson was a Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) Service Chief’s Fellow, and is a graduate of the Air Force Institute of Technology, the Naval War College Navy Command and Staff program as a Gravely Scholar, the School of Advanced Air and Space Studies, and the CSAF Blue Horizons Fellowship as a Senior Developmental Education (SDE) Fellow. He is currently an acquisitions professional in the US Space Force on the OSD Space and Missile Defense portfolio management staff.
