The Inter-Community Development Group is a voluntary group that creates and develops specific opportunities within and between communities to enhance the quality of life and resilience of interested members. IDG seeks to create viable connections and alliances, as well as access to new resources, within and between the communities it connects with. IDG looks for opportunities to connect communities that need certain resources with communities that have an excess of those resources. Examples of community projects include: * creating and operating a volunteer parent patrol to enhance student safety and security at an elementary school in Montgomery County, Maryland; * creating and overseeing an open student forum to encourage constructive student expression and related projects at a high school in Montgomery County, Maryland; * assisting in the start of a new school and delivery of related supplies in a remote village in South Sudan; * serving on the security task force of a large membership-based community center serving the Washington, DC area; * conducting resilience development workshops with the Costa Rican Embassy and a related Costa Rican trade agency in DC involving representatives of other Latin American countries as well; * participating in government procurement panels and workshops (with special emphasis on teaming arrangements/agreements and joint ventures) and conducting intellectual property, financing and strategic alliance workshops with the Maryland Women’s Business Center in Montgomery and Prince George’s Counties, Maryland; and * developing resource networks and related systems for a range of inter-generational and related groups.

Business and corporate law practice, generally directed to helping clients grow and strengthen their businesses, involving securities transactions (public offerings, private placements, registered exchanges, going-private transactions and tender offers), venture capital, compliance, corporate governance (advising Boards of Directors and Board Committees including Audit, Compensation, Compliance, Nominating, Special and other committees), corporate communications, corporate ethics and business conduct, mergers and acquisitions, gaming, SEC filings, SEC investigations, executive compensation matters, licensing and permits.
