The role involved analysing economic and social trends in Ireland and internationally, and disseminating findings and conclusions.Principal aspects of the role included:- Researching, analysing and advising on economic and social trends;- Conducting economic research and analysis;- Writing policy briefings, reports and research summaries;- Presenting research findings at conferences and other fora;- Representing Social Justice Ireland in the media, including on television and on the radio;- Representing Social Justice Ireland at seminars, conferences and other public events;- Monitoring external research and policy developments;- Engaging with government, the private sector, the community and voluntary sector, the environmental sector, trade unions and various research bodies to advance the goals of Social Justice Ireland.Social Justice Ireland is a politically independent think tank that advances the lives of people and communities by providing social analysis and effective policy development to create a just and sustainable future for every member of society.
