At Mercer I administered of a large portfolio of DC, DB and Hybrid pension schemes for high profile clients, across a number of different systems.The role involved answering legal and technical queries from both client contacts and scheme members; calculating benefits; engaging in ad-hoc project work relating to system migrations and functionality development; and providing excellent customer service to clients and scheme members.

I was in charge of the administration of a portfolio of DC schemes and PRSA clients.The role involved answering legal and technical queries from both client contacts and scheme members; calculation of pension benefits on retiring and leaving service; receipting cash and processing investment instructions from clients/members; issuing documentation in line with compliance deadlines; maintaining a high level of pensions technical knowledge, and knowledge of legislation; liaising with Brokers and Sales Agents to provide a high level of customer service.In the PRSA team, my keys roles including processing new business applications and ensuring they were legally compliant. I was personally in charge of ensuring new business received is processed and cleared within the week it arrives, as well as being in charge of processing transfers out of and in to PRSAs.
