I am Eamon Murray, a dedicated Mechanical Engineering student at Binghamton University with a passion for music, sports, and innovative problem-solving. I graduated from West Babylon High School at the top of my class, earning numerous honors, including being an Academic All-American athlete, an All-State athlete, a Delacave Award nominee, and a recipient of the Louis Armstrong Jazz Award.My journey didn't end in high school; I continue to embrace the values that propelled me to success. At Binghamton, I am an active member of a Band and serve as the Secretary of the Binghamton Powerlifting and Olympic Weightlifting Club, where I assist in overseeing club operations. In addition, I compete in the USAPL with the club and am proud to have qualified for collegiate nationals in my first year.On the academic front, I am currently a sophomore with junior standing and a GPA in the high 3's. Throughout my studies, I have developed strong skills in software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office. I have also worked on hands-on projects, including reverse engineering a sound machine and creating a children's game that integrates both mechanical and electrical engineering principles. Both of these projects were showcased in an engineering expo hosted by Binghamton.I am actively seeking a Mechanical Engineering internship in the Long Island area and am eager to connect with like-minded professionals to explore opportunities in engineering and related fields.
