Programming enthusiast with over a decade of industry experience focused primarily on real-time embedded software, device drivers and FPGA digital design. Extensive experience developing and providing multi-year support for hardware and software components backing mission critical systems with hard real-time performance and reliability requirements. Previously employed by National Instruments designing software and hardware for the CompactRIO industrial controller product line. Current responsibilities cover implementing both bench-top and embedded solutions for prototype, test and deployment phases of Skyloom optical communication products. Work includes implementing multi-stage control systems to establish and maintain laser communication links from flight mission parameters. Involved in Skyloom campaigns for both the LEO and GEO terminals. Graduated with honors from the University of Texas at Austin with a B.S. in Computer Science.
