As Program Lead on ‘Ireland’s Smartest Building’, my role was to develop One Albert Quay into a modern, connected smart building for Johnson Controls, a Fortune 500 company and world leader in building technologies.Our goal, which we succeeded in achieving, was to create a smart, sustainable and highly connected space that represented the best in-class for Johnson Controls. I setup this businesss to deliver a rapid payback Utility Management solution.My offering was called MyPowerBASE which was a real-time cloud based environmental management platform. I targetted the SME food and beverage sector which were growing but had significant sustainibility challenges along with limited engineering capability to manage the complex energy systems they required for their businesses.
