In short served 8 years in the Army, got out and did free lance work, then was a police officer. Was in the Army Reserve and called back to active duty twice. Came back into the Army during Desert Shield, stayed in for a total of 21 years active (plus 7 in the reserves) and retired. Then went to work for a software company that off-shored the my job to India. Went to work for the Federal Government, and have worked there since. Plans are to retire in a couple years (2 years 8 months and 4 days as of today), unless the economy goes into a total meltdown. So, no I am not looking for another job. Nor am I looking for a promotion (which would just put me into a higher tax bracket and I pay enough in taxes as is).
