Responsible for managing personnel, facilities and services of 184 installations worldwide; some with populations of over 120,000 rivaling that of small US cities complete with public works departments that run organic power generation systems and water treatment plants; also supervised subordinate commands such as the Army Environmental Command (AEC) which is charged with protecting endangered species of plant and wildlife, waste recycling, and all other Army sponsored energy conservation programs; manages an annual operating budget of over $28 billion.

Served as the top enlisted advisor for the consisting of 12 brigades and 54 battalions for one year; teamed with the Commanding General to provide the full spectrum of combat operations including deployment activities and related to training, discipline, morale and welfare of multinational forces including 61,000 U.S. soldiers and 31,000 Iraqi forces. Presided over the Tadreeb al Shameel Iraqi Army Training Center; The Iraqi equivalent to the US Army’s National Training Center with a Cadre of up to one hundred Iraqi Officers and Noncommissioned Officers that that trained 5 Iraqi Battalions annually; spearheaded the initiative to formalize the Iraqi Army Noncommissioned Officer Corps through academic institutions and professional development programs meant to educate Noncommissioned Officers on the care and training of the enlisted Soldiers within their ranks; managed a project team that researched, developed and refined a method to place armored pannels onto Mine Resistant Ambush Protected (MRAP) Vehicles in order to protect the occupants from Explosive Filled projectiles (EFP). Mannaged the successful retrograde and redeployment 61,000 troops and millions of dollars worth of equipment; masterfully orchestrated return of forward operating bases and joint security sites to the government of Iraq During OPERATION NEW DAWN.

Served as the Senior Advisor to the Commanding General of the world’s Only Airborne Corps; actively presided over health, morale, welfare, training, wartime readiness and deployment of approximately 55, 000 Paratroopers; provided critical advice to the Commanding General regarding all aspects of Soldier welfare; actively supervised large scale parachute operations involving thousands of paratroopers on Air Force Aircraft carrying up to one hundred Soldiers at a time. Supervised the day to day operations on the installation of Fort Bragg, North Carolina, the most populous installation in the Army, serving approximately 138,500 Soldiers, Civilian contractors and active duty family members; actively managed and supervised post security operations, traffic safety, public works, post housing, and other programs and facilities geared towards the health and overall well-being of the installation population.

Served as principal advisor to the Commanding General, US Army Maneuver Center of Excellence on all matters regarding the health, welfare discipline training and professional development of 22,500 Soldiers and families residing on the installation of Fort Benning; served as Installation Sergeant Major charged with the supervision of TRADOC’s largest installation composed of 13 brigades or 06 level commands that maintain formal schools and academies such as Airborne School, Ranger School, The Noncommissioned Officer Academy teaching both the Advanced and Senior Maneuver courses, The Officer Candidate School, and The Basic and Advanced Infantry and Armor Officers Course along with other courses facilitating the education and training 115,000 Soldiers annually; also presided over facilities, services and programs that supported the inner workings and systems of TRADOC’s largest installation covering 182,000 acres of land; maintained the official status of Fort Benning as the “Best Army Installation in the World”; aided in the integration of the Army’s two maneuver branches of Infantry and Armor to form the Maneuver Center of Excellence on Fort Benning; aided in the planning Resourcing and Execution of the Armor branch migration from Fort Knox Kentucky, to Fort Benning Georgia by expanding the installation, and building ranges and other facilities to accommodate a population increase of 50, 000 Soldiers annually.

Command Sergeant Major with oversight for one of six combatant commands charged with strengthening the defense capabilities of African states and regional organizations and, when directed, conducts military operations, in order to deter and defeat transnational threats and to provide a security environment conducive to good governance and development. Also responsible for all matters regarding the health morale, welfare and training of all enlisted Soldiers within the command. Supervised the seamless transformation of the Southern European Task Force to US Army Africa. Served as chief advisor to the Commanding General while supervising such major joint training and real world stability and support operations within the Southern European and African Theaters such as Austere Challenge 2008 and immediate Response 2008. Represented the command while interacting with prominent Officers and dignitaries from other nations. Presided over a variety of projects to improve the installation and upgrade barracks. Helped to manage an annual operating budget of approximately $28 million.

Senior enlisted advisor to the Commanding General on topics such as readiness, training, mobilization, deployment, sustainment, transformation and reconstitution. Proven success record for recommendations and decisions affection more than 78,000 rotational troops annually deploying to fight the Global War on Terrorism. Charged with infusing and sustaining a trained and ready flow of forces to combatant commanders worldwide in defense of the Nation at home and abroad. Revamped the installation’s antiquated Primary Leadership Development Course by designing and implementing the new Warrior Leaders’ Course, focusing on effective leadership for today’s Army. Managed the fill of all Non-Commissioned Officer Education System and other military school slots. Served as president of the installation’s NCO/Soldier of the Quarter/Year boards. Performed various tasks involving staff program management, research/analysis, project planning, budget planning, and quality assurance review/analysis of completed work for the Command. Ensured all missions were accomplished in a timely and efficient manner with no negative impact on the installation population. Coordinated with internal and external subject matter experts to ensure effective management processes. Fostered superb working/supportive relationships with all levels of major subordinate commands’ leadership. Performed management advisory functions requiring a high level of technical skills, detailed personnel management knowledge and experience, persuasiveness, and insight.
