Working collaboratively with Family Lives Team and London Borough of Camden services; midwives, health visitors, Children’s Centres/Family HUBs, other local services and relevant Family Lives staff to ensure the project is delivered effectively and to a high quality.Community outreach to raise awareness of our Parents Matter programme and increase referrals to the service.• Provide face-to-face, video and phone support to new parents and signpost to other appropriate services. • Support parents with appropriate information to get them motivated and engaged. • Undertake direct assessments of families including writing reports to relevant agencies. • Advertise, recruit and delivery of training to volunteers. • Supervise a number of volunteers and maintain a rigorous support structure for them including training, matching families and regular one-to-one supervisions. • Ensure appropriate screening and safeguarding procedures with parents meet Family Lives and London Borough of Camden’s policies and procedures.• Maintain accurate data, effective monitoring and evaluation processes to capture impact and outcomes, including submitting data onto secure databases.

The screening adheres to Local and National protocols, using automated equipment and is carried out across various neonatal departments including Maternity, Special Care Unit, and community care settings. The services are delivered by clinically skilled professionals and managed using the NHSP Screen management system and the Child Health system and RIO. With strong interpersonal and communication skills. Caring for young babies and their families. Adaptable and flexible and able to work independently and as part of a multi disciplinary team.
