1. Drive the suppliers complete the new product development in Asia base on the design from US; Lead the supplier engineer team to follow-up of NPI and trial production; Set up regular meeting with supplier and US team to review project lead time, open issues and define action plans to ensure launch successful.2. Drive the supplier engineer team to design and development of inspection jigs and fixtures, and to be responsible for the review of jigs and fixtures.3. Drive the supplier tooling room complete the tooling design and development, review FA&PPK to ensure the tooling works properly and stable. 4. Lead the supplier engineer team to complete the prototype, verify the design and provide the DFM to US team for design revising. 5. Responsible for the demonstration of problems in the trial production of new products, summarize and identify the test process problems, failure analysis and propose improvement plans; Plan and implement new process requirements, new process verification and failure mode impact analysis, and optimize existing processes 6. Lead the supplier engineer team and quality team to complete the PPAP (PFD, PFMEA, FA, PPK, Control Plan); Drive them to complete SPC and SOP and monitor them strictly follow it during the mass production.7. Complete the Product Sheets and maintain the document constantly to ensure all the information is updated, handover the Product Sheet to quality inspectors and train them the inspection standard.8. Drive engineering quality issues troubleshooting and support the quality team to solve other quality issues. 9. Review supplier’s engineer change request and drive the suppliers to implement the engineering change request by US design team.10. Work with supplier’s quality and production team to Implement Continuous Process Improvement projects; Lead them to research and implement the VAVE project for cost saving, defective rate reduction and efficiency improvement.

1. Processes (stamping/ welding/ riveting) development of new parts and debugging of process on existing parts to improve the yield rate.2. Diagnosis of root causes of quality issues, drive troubleshooting/DOE and assist in tooling modification. 3. Complete 8D report and respond to customer’s quality complaints and SCARs.4. Monitor manufacturing progress on site, Management of planning and scheduling of tooling work to ensure smooth manufacturing and delivery of goods. Ensure the tooling manufacturing products within or exceeds the required standards.5. Document SPC and IPQC for the quality inspectors and drive them to complete the online sampling inspection.6. Involve DFM/Tooling design review and responsible for tooling inspection/buyoff prior to handover.7. Release and constantly maintain FA&PPK&PPAP to meet the TS16949 system requirement.8. Participate the company monthly Kaizen event to reduce the waste and improve the efficiency.

1. Review the product design and initial the DFM for the product designer to optimize the part structure for the workable tooling, ensure the tooling will be consistent and efficient.2. Provide the tooling quotation for the marketing team price negotiation purpose.3. Complete the tooling design, drive the tooling assembly and production pilot until the tooling inspection and handover to the mass production department.4. Provide technical support and solution to ensure the tooling is working properly, drive engineering change to meet customer’s temporary change requirement.5. Drive the soft tooling design to support the product designer for the design verification.6. New technical research and lead new members training.
