Elijah Warren Email and Phone Number
Hello! I am a motivated and passionate college student dedicated to showcasing excellence throughout all activities, programs, events, and jobs. I am interested in pursuing a career that demonstrates the incredibly paramount intersectionality between environmental science and international relations. From the numerous organizations and programs I have been a part of, I have received a personal congratulations from the Mayor of Chicago, Lori Lightfoot. Through the Mayor's Youth Commission, I helped develop the My CHI. My Future. initiative. This program helps Chicago's youth find enriching activities and experiences that will expose them to the plethora of pathways to college, careers, trades, and entrepreneurship. Additionally, I was privileged to participate in a book club discussion with former President Barack Obama in which his latest book, "A Promised Land", was highlighted. Finally, through NBA Cares and After School Matters, I joined the NBA Youth Leadership Council in light of the 2020 All Stars Game in Chicago. With this, I worked with a group of likeminded teens to create a documentary that celebrates the local black-owned businesses and initiatives that support the community in various ways in Auburn Gresham, a neighborhood in Chicago. I am highly involved member of each community and social space I represent. I am eager and driven to become a vital asset to any team that aligns with my values as I strive to embody a model, global citizen.
