ALEF is a Swedish NGO specialised in empowerment and adult non-formal education in indigenous African languages. I am responsible for the projects ALEF is carrying out in collaboration with our partner organisations in Togo, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Uganda, and Ethiopia. I work with budget, planning, monitoring, evaluation, and capacity development in collaboration with our local partner organisations. I worked part-time within two research projects, both with a main focus on Africa's financial relations with Asian countries. I was responsible for collecting and systematising data from grey literature in French and English.

I was responsible for seven different French groups for pupils between 12 and 16 years old. I planned all classes and tests, assessed the students, and adapted the education to the students' respective age groups. Their motivation increased and many students' grades improved. In Sweden, schools remained open when the Covid-19 pandemic started. However, I adapted the education to make it safe and I also substituted teachers that were absent due to Covid.

I completed an internship at the section for Sweden's regional development cooperation in Sub-Saharan Africa, at the Embassy of Sweden in Addis Ababa. The regional section focuses on transboundary questions and collaborates with actors such as the African Union, the Regional Economic Communities, the United Nations, and Civil Society Organisations. I worked within the areas of democracy, human rights, and gender equality. I was also part of the communications team at the Embassy.

Försäkringskassan is the official state agency for social security in Sweden. It manages, for example, sick leaves and parental leaves. I worked as a desk officer for sick leave applications, where I investigated the right to economic compensation and assessed the applicants' respective income levels.

At the SACO student fair, I worked as a team leader for ten student ambassadors from the Social Sciences team. We worked together with the other team leaders and student ambassadors to promote Uppsala University and to recruit new students.

On a weekly basis, I held individual mentoring sessions with university students with disabilities. I encouraged them and helped them to structure and plan their individual studies. I also assisted with taking lecture notes for students with special needs.

Astrid Lindgrens Värld is a theatre theme park receiving around half a million visitors each year. I worked in the entrance, with tickets, in the reception, in different shops, at the parking and as an usher at the theatres that are played each day. Our main task was to help and guide the visitors whenever they needed us. I worked as a hostess at Astrid Lindgrens Värld during the summers of 2015, 2016, 2017, and 2018.

ERIKS Development Partner (Erikshjälpen) is a Swedish NGO working with child rights. Their aim is to reduce poverty and vulnerability by promoting the rights of children. "Ung fadder", within ERIKS, aims to inspire Swedish youth to support child rights in other parts of the world. At several different events, I have been working with the recruitment of youth donors for this cause.

Worked as a personal tutor for pupils with special needs. I taught in English, Swedish, and Mathematics.
