ALEF, Adult Learning and Empowerment Facilitators, is a registered Swedish non profit organisation. We work with empowerment through non-formal education.
Through assisting local organisations in implementing programs for non formal learning in small groups, we want to empower people living in poverty to change the world from below.
Being able to read, write and use basic maths is the first step towards taking control of one’s own life, and getting access to the overall society. This is a condition for democracy and for better using and developing one’s inner and outer resources.
