In a short period of time built a state of the art data platform with telemetry from across the Citrix product portfolio, created a Machine Learning Center of Excellence and a portfolio of analytics products: Security Analytics (User Entity Behavior Analytics), Application performance Analytics, and Networking Analytics. Pioneered the adoption of scaled agile development with CI/CD, test driven development & data driven planning. Led a cross functional team to reduce the cloud spend across Citrix by creating new governance models.

This turned around the product perception with our sales teams and doubled revenue in APAC.The team was recognized for its high level of innovation, and was featured in internal newsletters as one of the most innovative teams. Built an organization of 22 engineers with 2 managers from scratch in Bangalore that is responsible for platform SW, Switch Fabric SW, HW diagnostics for Juniper T-series routers. SW engineering lead for Juniper T4000 router project. I was responsible for working closely with product marketing, ASIC team, Manufacturing team and HW teams in defining requirements, product definition and in driving the delivery of the product. The product involved new line cards with new ASICs, Fabric cards with new ASICs and most FRUS on the chassis. Worked as the single point of contact for the Routing Engine (x86 server blade) for the TXP router. Managed all technical aspects of the relationship with an external vendor on the delivery of this product. This is leveraged across Juniper’s multiple platforms and was very critical requirement for achieving control plane scaling for T-series routers. Recognized Routing Engine expert within Juniper and involved as a consultant for multiple projects.

Developed an overall strategy and roadmap for HP-UX networking targeting the Telco market. This involved delivering products like RTP/RTCP, SIP, SCTP, IPQoS and IPv6 on HP-UX. Managed an offshore development program consisting of 30 engineers and 2 Project Managers and an onsite team of about 10 engineers. Managed third party commercial vendor relationship and also relationships with open source development community/consortia's.Managed the sustenance function for HP-UX networking services and network infrastructure services.

• Responsible for improving performance of networking stack. Concieved, designed and implemented a kernel based HTTP accelerator to improve specweb99 benchmark numbers on HP-UX. This product enabled HP-UX to gain across the board leadership from 2-way all the way to 16-way boxes. • Built a networking benchmark tool to measure networking stack performance on CCNuma machines. .• Re-designed the HP-UX socket layer code to make it more modular and to enable future development on top of it. This product involved addition of about 20,000 lines of HP-UX kernel code. Not only did it achieve the modularity objective it also improved performance.
