As a Human Resources Specialist at the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, I support the mission of serving our nation's veterans and their families by providing them with the best possible care and benefits. I have over two years of experience in HR, including one year as a HR Recruiter at Queens Borough Public Library, where I managed the full cycle of hiring and onboarding for various positions. I also completed a summer internship as a Program Support Specialist at GSA, where I assisted with various administrative and operational tasks. I have a master's degree in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from Touro University Worldwide, where I am currently pursuing my doctoral degree in Human and Organizational Psychology. I have developed strong skills in employee relations, onboarding, recruiting, and Microsoft Office, as well as a keen interest in human and organizational behavior, performance management, and leadership development. My goal is to apply my knowledge and skills to enhance the work environment, culture, and outcomes of the VA and its employees.
