Ebony Jean is an Advocate, Mentor, and Beauty Influencer in the Alopecia Areata community. Amongst other health issues, the diagnosis of Alopecia Universalis began at age 4 - affecting confidence throughout her youth. Ebony learned to draw eyebrows from her mother and eldest sister during high school. This essential technique was done each day until she became independent, hence developing her passion for makeup artistry. Later on, growing into a career in the beauty industry and as a content creator. Since revealing her hair loss story in 2016, Ebony has competed in pageants, spoken at National conferences, and connected with Legislators in Washington, D.C. - advocating for Alopecia Areata. Bridging the gap between advocacy and beauty, Ebony's desire is to encourage other Alopecians to embrace their difference. She has affiliations with popular makeup brands, competed at Miss Michigan USA, filmed a hair loss documentary, created a Proclamation for hair loss patients in her hometown, and was featured on PBS NewsHour in 2022.
