At VMWare, I embarked on a challenging yet rewarding journey as an MTS Security Engineer. One of my proudest achievements was being part of the development team for a sophisticated evidence-collection platform. In this role, I actively contributed to shaping its architecture, ensuring alignment with stringent security requirements. The dynamic environment fostered collaboration, and I led a cross-functional workstream for end-to-end evidence collection. This experience not only enhanced the effectiveness of our processes but also brought together diverse teams with a shared goal.My commitment extended beyond development as I proactively identified and addressed security vulnerabilities within the Managed Cloud (VMC) environment. This not only improved the overall security posture but also elevated compliance standards. Facilitating key project meetings, including daily stand-ups and sprint planning sessions, became a crucial aspect of ensuring effective communication and project alignment. VMWare provided me with an enriching environment where every challenge was an opportunity for growth.

During my internship at Goldman Sachs, I delved into the world of software engineering with a focus on developing a robust internal issue-tracking system. It was an exciting project for the Control Engineering team, where I integrated Prometheus and Grafana with a Java backend for continuous monitoring and real-time updates. The automation of alerting mechanisms, leveraging Prometheus, significantly improved response times for issue resolution.Taking end-to-end responsibility for metric-driven solutions, I was involved in designing algorithms, implementing monitoring solutions, and debugging for precise performance assessments. This holistic approach, combined with a comprehensive testing strategy that utilized JUnit for unit-level validation and integration tests, reinforced the robustness of the monitoring system. The culmination of these efforts resulted in the successful delivery and deployment of the final Prometheus and Grafana-based monitoring system to the Control Engineering team, contributing significantly to application stability and performance.

As an Android Software Engineer at Vytality Health, I played a key role in developing the Vytality social app for caregiving. Focused on coding functionalities, I designed features that provided physical and emotional support through personalized communities and tailored information, empowering users to achieve unique health goals. A significant technical accomplishment included leading the development and successful publishing of the initial release of the application, highlighting expertise in Android app development within the dynamic startup landscape.

Engaged in the immersive Facebook Above and Beyond Computer Science (ABCS) Program, a virtual workshop series led by Facebook software engineers nationwide. Proactively mastered essential knowledge, skills, and mindsets crucial for success in technical interviews within the industry. Leveraged virtual platforms to connect with a vibrant community of peers, honed applied problem-solving abilities, and utilized mock phone screens to prepare for software engineering job opportunities.
