Hi, I am Ebrahim. I am dedicated to advancing innovation and competitiveness in the dynamic fields of molecular biology, fermentation microbiology and biotechnology. Currently pursuing a Master of Science in Microbiology at Teesside University, I bring extensive hands-on experience in a variety of laboratory techniques, including PCR, ELISA, chromatography, nanodrop and transformation techniques. My background includes analysing historical artefacts using GC/MS, developing novel capuramycin analogues through genetic manipulation of Streptomyces strains, and extracting bio-enzymes from cyanobacteria. Selected for summer research project at the NHC which was funded by the prestigious Summer Studentship Grant from Applied Microbiology International, I have consistently demonstrated my commitment to research excellence and scientific discovery. In addition to my technical expertise, I thrive in collaborative environments, where my strong problem-solving skills and effective communication abilities contribute to successful project outcomes and a positive team dynamic. Eager to leverage my skills and experience to make a meaningful impact, I am always seeking new opportunities to contribute to innovative research and applications in biotechnology.
