As part of the Ivey Business School, MBA field project, I worked with a team of 6 to advise a medical device manufacturer/distributor on a new market (region) to enter and on an effective go-to-market strategy, with projected annual revenues in $millions. In doing these, I performed the following functions:- Market sizing: Built a proprietary market sizing model that was used to evaluate a number of countries/markets to identify the best market for entry.- Distributor analysis: Performed a distributor/partner analysis in an identified market to identify the ideal partner for the client.- Go-to-market strategy: Developed a go-to-market strategy covering areas such as tariffs, importation, partner relationship, pricing, packaging, marketing, etc.- Built presentation materials, presented findings and recommendations to C-Suite manangement, and responded to all follow-on questions.- Discussed and partnered with regional experts to gain a detailed understanding of the various markets.- Challenged and considered plausible alternatives to management's initial ideas.

As an Assistant Manager at KPMG UK, I led cross-functional and multi-location teams on operations and process improvement projects, risk assessment reviews, business valuation and financial modelling/valuation, process review and financial statement analysis for companies and councils (public sector) in the UK.
